Enable Network Output on SuperModel (Model 3)

There is 2 options for SuperModel. The first is to use my forked SuperModel, that has network outputs. First is to download the normal SuperModel files, which is the first link above. The download 6Bolt’s forked release, which is just the EXE. Then replace the EXE in the SuperModel files. Hook of the Reaper can be running before, or started right after SuperModel.

The second option is to use the latest SuperModel emulator, as it now has network outputs. Download the latest SuperModel emulator, and extract all the files. If Hook of the Reaper is open before SuperModel is started, it can be hit or miss with the hooking. It is best to have Hook of the Reaper started after the emulator. Until this bug can be fixed.

After the emulator is installed. Go to the SuperModel install directory. Then go into the 'Config' directory. Open the 'Supermodel.ini' file in a text editor. Go down to line 43, you will see 'Outputs = win'. Change 'win' to 'net', so it looks like 'Outputs = net'. Then save the file. You are done, and SuperModel has network output enabled.

Windows Security Alert for Network Connection

After enabling the network output and starting SuperModel the first time after that, a Windows security alert probably will happen. For SuperModel to work with Hook of the Reaper, both will need access to the network. Hook of the Reaper, and SuperModel, I believe, only use the local network. So you could do firewall rules that limit both programs to the local network. If you blocked one or both programs in the past, you must then unblock them in the firewall. A search on the internet will show ways to unblock the programs.
