RS 3 Reaper
Add Retro Shooter RS3 Reaper to Hook of the Reaper
Hook of the Reaper starts in the tray icon. Open the tray icon and click on the Hook of the Reaper icon, and the program will go onto the desktop. Then click 'File' and then click 'Add Light Gun'. This will bring up the 'Add Light Gun' window. Click on the combo box next to 'Default Light Gun', and select 'Retro Shooter: RS3 Reaper' in the list. Fields will be automatically filled and greyed out. Only the items next to red test need to be filled out, or change if needed. Please see below on what is needed.
- Enter a Name
- Select Light Gun COM Port
- Assign Recoil Priority
- Select Reload
Once completed, then click the 'Add' button on the bottom right of the window. It will play a sound, and make the light gun list go up by one. If something was not filled out right, a pop-up warning message will happen. Then can correct the issue.
RS3 Reaper Settings
There are two main settings for the RS3 Reaper light gun. The first is to disable the five LEDs on the side of the gun, with the ammo count feature. This is were the five LEDs will be orange or red, based on the ammo value. Disabling this will always make it act normally. The second main setting, is for the ammo 0 delay. This is needed to hold the slide back in full auto games that have 'Ammo_Value'. The delay is on by default, and the delay is 145ms. The hold the slide back safety timer is 5.0s. If this is disabled, then the slide will not be held back most of the time in full auto games with 'Ammo_Value'. Only when the timing is perfect, that it will work.
Edit Light Gun
Click on the 'Edit', and then click the 'Edit Light Gun', which will bring up the 'Edit Light Gun' window. Select the light gun, from the first combo box. Then make the needed edits. Once done, then click the 'Edit' button in the bottom right, which will make a sound to confirm the edit. Also, the light gun can be deleted.
